SENATOR LARRY CRAIG RESIGNS

Just a few minutes ago, Senator Larry Craig resigned as Idaho's Senator. Senator Craig apologized to his family, the people of Idaho and his Senate colleagues. He made no admission of guilt, but did say that he intends to fight the charges and can't do so as a Senator. It is a sad day for all Republicans, but the right thing for Senator Craig to do.
