EX-IRA CHIEF WORKING WITH IRAQI WARRING FACTIONS

Funny, how hard it is to find a story like this. CNN is reporting that Northern Irish Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness and ex-paramilitary Billy Huthinson attended talks in Finland with about 30 members of Iraq's Sunni and Shiite communities. According to CNN "Iraq's warring factions have reached an agreement aimed at boosting peace following talks with politicians from Northern Ireland and South Africa." The ability to talk, and engage in frank discussions is a critical component in reaching a resolution of the conflict in Iraq, and one that President Bush has consistently pushed for. My thanks to River West for providing this article.
