CONGO REBELS SEIZE GORILLA PARK

Anytime I see an article about the mountain gorillas of Africa, I automatically think of former Senator Bill Frist, who has gone to Africa frequently to see these magnificent beasts. Now comes word that rebels in the Democratic Republic of Congo have taken control of large parts of the Virunga National Park, home to rare mountain gorillas. Only 700 mountain gorillas remain - half of which are in Virunga.
