NEW MEXICO SENATOR PETE DOMENICI ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT

Senator Pete Domenici of New Mexico intends to retire at the end of his term next year. Domenici becomes the fifth Republican Senator to announce his retirement. Domenici will be remembered by me as the mentor to former Senator Bill Frist.
