FRED THOMPSON REPORTS $12.7 MILLION IN FIRST FEC FILING

Senator Fred Thompson reported $12.7 million in campaign contributions in a very short period of time. So much for the argument that he would have trouble raising money. Senator Thompson's campaign is now in high gear.
