HARRY REID STANDS SMALL ON IRAQ

I think the headline really says it all. Reid expected Republicans to join the Democrats in opposing the War in Iraq - especially, according to Reid, once the Republicans had a chance to go back to their home states in August, and get a pounding from their constituents. Well, that hasn't happened. Actually, the Republicans took control of the coverage regarding the war during the month of August. Poor Harry Reid, now he isn't dealing from a position of strength.
