HARRY REID IS AT IT AGAIN

My understanding of the way the Senate should work on approving nominations made by the President is pretty basic. Unless they believe the candidate is unqualified, the Senate has an obligation to approve the President's choice. They have no right to deny a qualified person an appointment just because they view them to be political. I have never heard of any President appointing someone who was not in some way political. Now Harry Reid is vowing to block former Solicitor General Theodore Olson from becoming attorney general. Reid is quoted as saying "He's a partisan, and the last thing we need as an attorney general is a partisan." Sorry, Harry, that's not your call to make.
