THE NFL FINALLY TRIES TO DEAL WITH A PROBLEM

For many years, knowledgeable fans of pro football have been aware of a disconnect with how the teams handled players recovering from concussions and how the medical professionals thought they should be handled. Not many fans remember that the main reason that Lynn Swann, the Pittsburgh Steeler hall of famer, retired from football so early was because of all the concussions that he had suffered.
