A relative of legendary Notre Dame football player George Gipp had his body exhumed so that a DNA test could be conducted to determine if he had sired a child. The girl who was born shortly after Gipp died from pneumonia and a staph infection, believed until her death that Gipp was her father. A femur bone was removed from Gipp's body, and DNA tests determined that he was not the father of the girl. My question is, what difference did it make? Why would you disturb his body to prove whether or not he was the father of a woman now dead?
Eric Lindros, one of the best hockey players, when he was healthy, has retired after 13 seasons. Considering all of the concussion that Eric has suffered, I thought he should have retired when he was playing for the Philadelphia Flyers.
