The Steelers won last night 41 to 24. We need to get our defense back playing together. They did not look good, but Big Ben and our receivers took care of everything. We lost Willie Parker for the rest of the year - a loss we can't afford.

At this rate the Steelers will be lucky to make the playoffs. On second thought, they don't deserve to make the playoffs.

As expected, after such an overwhelming loss, the grades are not very high. I'm not usually inclined to blame any one individual for a loss, but the Steeler Offensive Coordinator leaves a lot to be desired. Also, I would be tempted to fire Anthony Smith immediately.

Well, I have to salute the New England Patriots. They were clearly the better team today. In fact, I don't know if any team can beat them this year. Tom Brady is awesome.

My favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers upped their record to 9 and 3 with a 24 to 10 win over Cincinnati.

If you watched Monday night's Steelers - Miami football game on ESPN, you saw the terrible condition of the field. I don't buy Art Rooney II's excuse for the condition of the field. Didn't he watch the weather forecasts up there? And what's up with letting high school and college teams use the field before an important pro game? I graduated from law school with Art, and he is a terrific person, but he dropped the ball on this one.

The Steeler organization should be screaming bloody murder over the condition of the field - oh yeah, the Steelers won 3 - 0.

I just couldn't resist this story about Pittsburgh Steeler quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. He has had a tremendous season, and the last two games just prove his value to the Steelers. I agree with Ron Cook that Big Ben belongs right up there with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

The Steelers came roaring back in the second half to beat the Cleveland Browns 31 to 28. Pittsburgh's record is now 7 and 2.

Ben Rothlisberger and James Harrison were the big stars of the Monday night game against the Baltimore Ravens. Big Ben threw for five touchdowns. Harrison recovered a couple of fumbles, intercepted a pass and threw in a couple of sacks for good measure.

Steeler Report Card for Week 6. The Steelers lost to Denver 31 to 28, to bring their record to 4 and 2. Believe me, the loss was a team effort, and the Report Card reflects that.

For those of us who remember the glory years of the 70's - Four Super Bowls in a decade for the Steelers - so many hall of fame players that we seemed to make the trip to Canton every year as they became eligible - a Hall of Fame Coach - and the best football team in history - this is really a trip down memory lane, and one well worth taking.
