BRISTOL-MYERS CANCER DRUG WINS APPROVAL FROM FDA

The FDA has approved a new chemotherapy drug to treat advanced breast cancer. The drug, Ixempra, was approved for use in women who have failed treatment on three other types of chemotherapy.

EAR INFECTION BACTERIA STRAIN IS RESISTANT TO ALL CHILD ANTIBIOTICS

Researchers have found a strain of bacteria that can cause ear infections that is resistant to all antibiotics approved for use in children. This could become a serious health risk.
