LOTT ANNOUNCING RESIGNATION

The Politico is reporting that Trent Lott will resign, possibly announcing it as early as today. I have never cared for Lott, but we can't afford to keep losing Republican Senators. Nevertheless, I will certainly not miss Trent. He is the kind of Republican that only hurts our party.
