SOME 'VAMPIRES' PREFER ENERGY OVER BLOOD

I'm a big Ann Rice fan, so when I saw this headline, and given the fact that Halloween is tomorrow, I assumed it was an article about those kinds of Vampires. Much to my surprise, it's an article about how Americans really waste energy. In particular, it talks about the fact that 5% of electricity used in the United States goes to standby power. They are talking about those of us who leave on computer on in "standby" mode, rather than shutting it off, or leaving you cell phone charger in the outlet. It's a good article, despite not having anything about real Vampires.
