Ron Paul, Politics and the Internet in the '08 Campaign

Stuart Rothenberg of Roll Call makes the argument that Ron Paul is still irrelevant in Republican politics, that his fundraising pales in comparison to the front runners, and that he should not be taken seriously because he has no chance to win the Republican nomination. I still believe that he has no chance to win the nomination, but I believe that he must, and should. be taken seriously.

RON PAUL'S VERY BIG DAY

Ed Morrissey has an important post about Ron Paul's fundraising. While I don't believe that I could ever support Ron Paul for President, simply because I disagree with him on too many issues, starting with the war in Iraq, he has earned my respect with his fundraising capabilities, and I believe that his candidacy must be taken seriously. Kudos to Congressman Paul. His supporters are working hard for him.

MCCAIN TO CRITICIZE GIULIANI ON GUNS

The Associated Press is reporting that John McCain has lobbed a thinly veiled attack at fellow rival Rudy Giuliani, "describing the former mayor's 'devious' attempt with a lawsuit to bankrupt our great gun manufacturers." Gee, do you think John was really attacking Rudy?

BOEHNER AND PELOSI BATTLE OVER STOLEN VOTE PROBE

Nancy Pelosi has promised Minority Leader John Boehner an investigation into the "stolen vote." Now, she is seeking to limit the time and money spent on the investigation. It looks like a big fight is brewing.
