THE STUPID PARTY

James W. Ceaser, a Professor of Politics at the University of Virginia has a very thoughtful article about the state of the Democratic Party today. As he points out the serious Democrat must consider whether to accept the ugly style the new radicals of the left have developed for use among themselves, as the way the party will operate - or begin to think deeply enough to find a principled ground for rejecting a faction in their midst that is not only stupid but dangerous as well.
