WHICH PARTY WILL SPLIT OVER IRAQ?

It will be interesting to see how the Iraq debate in Congress plays out. The Democrats left for vacation at the end of July convinced that when Congress re-convened in September, they would have a lot of Republicans join them in demanding a troop pull out. When it became apparent that wasn't going to happen, the Democratic leadership is now trying to convince Republicans to go along with a watered down version of their plans. It will be very entertaining to watch as Congress debates Iraq, and the Democrats split over the issue.
